Soo maybe this should have been posted in the wrestling category, but whatever. Anyways guys, Im bringing you my thoughts and honest opinions on WWE 2k14 after completing its storyline over the week of its release. Lets jump right into things!
WWE 2k14 had a seriously long build up as I was over the top excited for its release! On the 29th I would bring back my copy of the infamous 2k reboot of the WWE franchise known as WWE 2k14 only wishing to complete the storyline in time to give this review. Now before I go into full speculation let me just note that I wasn't even too excited about the story feature of the game. The whole 30 years idea just seemed overdue to me considering they basically did the same exact thing with WWE'13. CONTINUING. So WWE 30 Years of Wrestlemania began with the Hulkamania relive. I guess it doesn't count as repetitive from last years game since Hogan's time was in the Golden Age. Whatever. Anyways, I was extremely disappointed in this section of the game because of the fact that it only has three whole parts! WTF?! I begin to guess that the next section of the story feature will be better so I wasn't too mad about it. The next section of 30 years was called "The New Generation". This relives the beginning times for younger and fresher guys like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Now this was bound to be one hell of a playthrough from the start to the end. The entire section ended up to be pretty impressive as you got to play as "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon and even see pre animated cutscenes of backstage hype videos! This section was overall beyond my expectation positively. (I AM NOT GOING TO COVER EVERY SECTION OF THE 30 YEARS DUE TO HALF OF IT BEING GARBAGE) Sooo in the end WWE 2k14 is a 8/10 game from a personal standpoint. Although 2k dropped the ball big time on the 30 Years Edition of the game, they still did very well with the single player mode soo I guess that counts.
Well thats my review! Go buy your copy of WWE 2k14 in stores now!
